Syder The Boardgame

Syder The Board Game is a board game prototype developed during my internship in Studio Evil in 2016

The game is about spaceships fighting each other and the setting is in Syder Arcade universe: this is an Studio Evil IP, based on the free scrolling multidirectional shoot'em up.

The main objective of the project was to give players the opportunity to put themselves in command of their favorite spaceship and throw themselves into a space fray with other players, all this on their own table.

STBG features tactical ship-to-ship dogfighting while using Commander Cards to interact with other player movements.

Key points of product development were : easy to learn and quick to play, taking anywhere between 15 and 45 minutes from first set-up to battle's end.
